FAQs

PROGRAM

What is the Entrepreneurs Readiness Program?

Entrepreneurs Readiness Program is an intensive 12-week program designed for business owners who want to build a strong foundation for future growth and exit. We’ll select 4-5 CEOs to participate in each cohort: the small size ensuring candid discussion and tailored coaching. Program delivery includes a mix of in-person group workshops and 1:1 expert sessions, structured in three phases: (1) Diagnose & Prioritize to assess key business drivers and risks, (2) Expert Deep-Dives for targeted sessions in legal, tax, finance, operations, wealth management, and M&A, and (3) Integrate & Get Buyer Ready to synthesize insights and develop a buyer-ready story. The program concludes with a verified readiness checklist, a management presentation, and access to a CEO/Owner community and buyer visibility (if you desire). You can download a detailed program here.

How is this different from exit planning seminars or conferences?

Seminars and conferences are one‑to‑many and mostly passive; this program is hands‑on, applied work with a curated cohort and experts focused on your company—not a panel or vendor pitch.

My business is profitable, and I am not looking to sell now. How will joining this program benefit me?

Do you get annual physical medical checkup? Then why not do the same for your business! Business is also another living, breathing entity. No matter what the financials may look like, an annual business checkup is essential to your business’ ongoing health. An assessment will not only help identify and treat issues before they worsen (even if you aren’t experiencing symptoms) but also help you track your progress towards your eventual end goal. This program will also provide you with a community of experts and peers who you can call upon whenever the need arises in addition to an ongoing annual check-in.

Is there a fee to participate?

Tuition is $12,000. Any Persient sponsorship and final pricing is communicated upon acceptance.

How many participants per cohort?

4–5 owners to maximize interaction and outcomes.

Who will be in my cohort?

Participants are selected through an application process and interview. Each cohort will have owners from different industries to ensure diversity and confidentiality and to gain various perspectives and insights from other successful entrepreneurs.

How does the group meet?

The group meets weekly in-person, ideally Friday mornings. Your cohort calendar details are shared after admission.

What is the weekly time commitment?

About 4.5 hours per week in person (plus 2-3 hours of targeted homework) for the first and third month of the program. About 3-4 hours per week in person with subject matter experts in the second month of the program.

What happens if I miss a session?

You’ll receive materials and a short 1:1 recap where feasible; certain sessions (e.g., management presentation) are hard to replicate and may require extra prep before the next week.

Do I have to share sensitive information?

You control what you share. A secure virtual data room is used to organize artifacts. Each CEO/Owner and Experts will sign a confidentiality agreement.

PROGRAM LEADS

Who will moderate the program?

Ashish Jariwala, managing member and founder of Persient LLC, is a seasoned investment banker who has been in your shoes as a business owner/operator. Ashish successfully sold his business to a public company, following which he worked on Wall Street to learn the art of M&A. Having worked with numerous business owners over the past 2 decades, guiding them to their end goal, one thing he’s heard most often is “…wish I had known this before…”. This is what led to the birth of the Entrepreneurs Readiness Program. You can learn more about Ashish and Persient at www.persient.com

Who are the subject-matter experts?

A carefully selected group of seasoned experts who share a similar passion for helping entrepreneurs build a better business. This group includes attorneys, wealth/estate advisors, ops/finance specialists, tax professionals, and M&A investment bankers – matched to your needs.

Are there any obligations after the program ends?

You will be invited for regular check-ins and alumni events but have no obligation to participate. Additionally, there is no obligation to hire Persient or any of the subject matter experts, but you can choose to do so if you see a fit.

Seats are limited to 5 CEO/Owners per cohort.
